Admissions & Aid

Central Community College offers a wide range of choices in programs and locations.

Programs

You can earn a degree, diploma or certificate in one of our 36 career and technical education programs. After two years or less of full-time study, you will be prepared to enter a profession like drafting, dental hygiene or diesel technology.  Many of our students have family, work and other commitments, so they attend less than full time. Our flexible scheduling makes it possible to earn a degree through part-time study.

Transfer

If you want to earn a bachelor’s degree, CCC is a great place to start. You can complete your first two years through our academic transfer program, earn an associate of arts or associate of science degree and then transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree.

Locations

We offer programs at our Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses; Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington centers; Ord Learning Center; and other locations throughout our 25-county service area.

Online

Central Online offers more than 300 courses in 15 programs, as well as 35 degrees, diplomas and certificates that can be completed entirely through online study.

Cost

No matter what program you choose, you will find that our highly competitive tuition and fee rates make earning a CCC degree surprisingly affordable and provide an option for helping control student debt.

High School

High school students can start earning college credit or dual credit and can also explore career options through CCC’s Career Pathways and Early College programs.

Community and Adult Education and Workforce Training

CCC also offers a variety of community and adult education opportunities, including GED, English as a Second Language, cooking, arts and crafts, computers and technology, and other personal enrichment workshops and classes. CCC is a primary source of training for business and industry, providing customized training throughout our service area.
